Christmas Cards Trash to Treasure
Today, I'm committed to turning junky stuff to vintage-shabby chic treasure.
I got the inspiration from Sugar Creek Hollow where lots of beautiful things from trash
are being posted by creative people from around the world.
Since December is coming, I'm starting off by making a Christmas card, and hopefully continue
making more to give away.
This is my finished product, fully decorated Christmas card.
I chose this cardstock backing from the packaging of a room
decor sticker that I used several months ago.
I cut a piece of 4"x4" then punched one edge with a doily motif edge punch.
I stamped the Christmas ornament, colored it, then cut around it. Then I inked the edges
to make it look vintagey. I used spellbinders parisian accents to decorate the corners then topped it with crystal gems. I also used a white satin bow, topped it with a glittery, die-cut star.
This is my entry to Sugar Creek Hollow's November Trash-to-Treasure Challenge
I hope they'll choose my entry as one of the finalists.
Thanks for stopping by!
