During my kitchen clean-up today, I found this large dilapidated shopping bag folded and forgotten in a corner. My instinct was to put it straight into the trash but the garbage collector won't come 'til Monday (It's Saturday today).
This bag is going to be recycled today into something useful!

First step: I cut the bag into pieces and saved the handles.

I have to set these aside now , because I'm taking my son to the Grand Stand for some"exercise".

Here are my Treasures from Trash!

From the scraps, I made this cute Christmas Card that can be hanged on a Christmas tree. I joined the back and front of the card with an eyelet.
The angel vignette is from one of my favorite blogs, Far Far Hill. I printed it and cut it out.
Other embellishments include metallic blue swirl, abacca fiber,
embossed card, and organza ribbon.

Stripes and Spots - my entry for Sugar Creek Hollow's latest card challenge.
This is an angel Christmas card with red glittery pendants. I just wrote the sentiment "For you" since I don't have a stamp for that, hehe.

Next, I made the 5"x7" sized scraps into a pillow box, which I embellished with layers of die-cut flowers with a red sticky gem on the center, and a flower trim belt.

Then my third project was another pillow box, which I embellished with die-cut flowers (I positioned it to look like a cloud). The vintage angel vignette is also from Far far Hill

Now here's what I really did... I sprayed the printed side of the scraps with adhesive then topped it with a printed paper.

Thanks for stopping by!!
