Christmas Is Love, With All The Trimmings
Oh yeah! it's Friday. My card today is using the Elisabeth Bell stamp which I won from a giveaway. I am following the sketch from Always Playing with Paper - Merry Monday Challenge #8, come and join you still have 2 days.
I'm using a green DP patterned paper and used a glittered Christmas cs from DCWV Holiday Collection . I stamped the image twice on a white cs and layered the clothes, sledge and her cap. She is colored using color pencils. I added glitters to her cap and under the sledge for snow effect. The edges are distressed using tea dye. It's a double matte with same green dp and metallic brown then mounted on the card with foam tapes. The flower is using sizzlits snow flower, which I layered 4 times and painted with tat burnt red. The festive greenery is also a sizzix sizzlits by Tim Holtz then I added a gem for the center. The red paper frills is from doodlebug also from my giveaway win, love it! and sentiment from Stampin Up. I have no other Christmas sentiment :( maybe later on.
Here is a side view of the card and you can see the dimension from this angle.
The inner panel is also using the same patterned paper and I added a place for own sentiment with a Merry Christmas greeting.
