Hiya all! It's Saturday once again and it's time for some crafting and designing here. I made another exploding box, this time for my mother-in-law, who celebrated her birthday two days ago. So, using my 2.2 inches box template, I began scoring the yellow cardstock on my Scor-Pal to make the lid and the box.

I gathered some papers from Sassafras Ellie's Tale and DCWV Luxury stack and covered the lid and the box.

 Ta-daaah!

I used a printed violet cardstock from DCWV Luxury stack to make the 3-layered cake.
I stamped Hero Arts Happy Birthday on a paper and made it into a banner, which I glued around the sides of the top layer of the cake. On the sides, you'll see transparent pvc strips sticking out, which I decorated with tiny punched flowers and a Prima butterfly.

I really like this chipboard silhouette by Maya Road because it resembles her - short hair and slim structure. I painted it with with blue scrapbook paint - Memory Makers- and embellished it with Prima flowers and a blue gem.
