I Love You
Hello once again! I'm so happy to be back. Yesterday, the Blogger was kind of wonky and I can't post or edit. I'm glad the system is normal now because I wanted to post my new header. Did you notice up there? I made the header today using elements from different collections that I downloaded for FREE at SHABBY PRINCESS. With all the mix of craft elements, my banner now represents me as a crafter. So, what do you think? If you want to rave (or rant), you are free to post on my comment box.
Today's card is a something I made for Valentine's Day following the sketch by The Craft's Meow January-February Sketch Challenge. I'm also using one of their stamp sets, Sent With Love, which is one of my favorites.
Fort this card, I inked the image using Tsukineko Dew Drop Brilliance in Pearlescent Ivy and stamped it on the cardstock. Once dry, I cut it with a circle die then inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress ink in Victorian Velvet.
Using the same stamp set, I inked the "carnation-butterfly-banner" stamp with Tsukineko Brilliance in Graphite Black, then stamped it on a cream cardstock. I colored the images with Faber-Castell Pens, then cut them to make the collage.
I used Prima Tea and Silk cardstock as background then layered it with tracing paper; the green paper is actually the backside of the Prima cardstock. Then, I placed a lace across the card before arranging the collage.
The Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy ink is really nice, it has a metallic sheen.
