Good morning my fellow crafters! What a beautiful day this is! Oh my, I'm just so happy to be able to access my blog - after 2 days of internet wonkiness!!

Well, I have lots to post. So let's start with my first project. I made some chocolate boxes to give away on Valentine's day.

Valentine Chocolate Boxes

I used printed cardstocks by Imaginiscence,  Royal Treatment (which I had for so long), and solid red Venice cardstocks with shimmery effects.

I printed the box template on a plain cardstock then hand-cut each one by following the lines. Note: by using an editing software (I always use Adobe Photoshop) you can resize the template to make it as big as you want.
Since I don't have an electronic cutting machine yet, I had to make extra effort by tracing the template on the backside of the printed cardstock, then cut it again.

The handle is about half an inch wide. I attached it to the sides with a brad. I also made circle tags and stamped "just for you" sentiment on each one, then attached them on the handle.

The box template is called TRAPEZOID BOX and you can get it for FREE HERE

Now, below you'll see how I filled these boxes with assorted chocolates and some ric-rac cuttings. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

 PAPER PIECING
Next, this paper piecing project is tricky! The images are tiny, I had to use tweezers to hold them. These are images and sentiments are from The Craft's Meow Life is a Carnival set, which I picked as a prize for winning the TCM December-January sketch challenge.

Supplies: Papers: DCWV, Sassafrass, All about Scrapbooking, Linen paper.
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug.
others: glue
