Going green and Easter Bunnies
Hi friends! Saturday is finally here. Outside it's a bit gloomy, but it's much better than the hot, sticky weather of the previous days. I'm making cards (lots!) really fast today because were having power blackouts regularly, and I feel that I'm missing out on my favorite challenges. Boohoo!
Easter is coming so I thought I'd make some Easter cards. My card is quite big, it's 5"x7", and I like it! I'm using the Bunnies on Log digi image newly released by The Crafty Pad Designs . This digi is really cute!
Here's a closer look at the Bunnies on Log.
I colored them pink, brown, and grey using Crayola color pencils.
the Happy Easter ticket sentiment is also from The Crafty Pad.
I just made the double bow by hand --but I wish I had those pegs to do this :-)
The punched out butterfly rests on the ticket :-) Now these flowers were made from paper scraps using Sizzix sizzlit strip die. The die is owned by my crafty sister Luanne. I love the die and It's definitely going to my wish list :-). The flowers were flat so I crumpled and pinched the petals to give it a nice detail. Finally, I sprayed glimmer mist on the assembled flowers, let them dry, then adhered them on the card.
