Chicks on The Edge

Greetings to all! If you came from We Heart Paper Crafts, then you're on the right place.
What a wonderful day it is to do some crafting, don't you think? It's challenge time once again at The Crafty Pad and this week's theme is Live on the Edge. Sounds like a title from Aerosmith's classics - Livin' on the Edge - my favorite. This challenge is all about showing of beautiful edging on your projects. Take a look at what I did....

See those edges? I actually made them individually using lacey ovals die by Spellbinders and layered them in an overlapping position starting from the bottom going to the top.

I love making elements pop out (with 3D effects) in my cards , so I thought, the chicks and the ribbon would have to stand out. I printed the image twice and cut out the chicks and ribbon. Then, I placed adhesive foams at the backside before sticking them over the first image.

Featured here is an image from The Crafty Pad called Chicks in Brolly. I colored it with Crayola color pencils and Fabel Castell Color Pens. Cute image, those chicks hatching inside an umbrella!

This image is now available at The Crafty Pad Shop.

Enter the challenge and win £5 voucher to spend in their shop HERE from the fabulous sponsor -    Creative Craft World.

What's more, if you are using images from The Crafty Pad you could enter the TCP Monthly Showcase and get a chance to win 5 Crafty Pad Images of your choice. Sounds really cool, huh?
