A fabulous day to everyone! It's me Venus posting here once again. The month of may is just around the corner and I'm getting excited about our GIVEAWAY... Don't miss out, check out the left side bar to know what yummy goodies we have.
I have a project to share, just what I've been working on yesterday. It's a Halloween card. It's not too early to make one, LOL! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because of all the spooky quirkiness that goes with it.
My project was inspired by the sketch at The Crafts Meow. I really like TCM clear stamps, too.
What's fun about the sketch is it's rotatable, free to flip or turn.
Here's what I did.... I placed the border at the bottom, the ribbon on top, and the buttons at a different angle. I used orange and grey printed paper by... hmm, I'll get back on that later; The black paper with web print and pumpkins are paper freebies from My Grafico, you can get it HERE. I really like the vintage image of this witch & cat, it is also a freebie from Graphics Fairy. I just made the sentiment, distressed the ric-rac edges with Tim Holtz Distress old paper and Versamark chocolate.
I placed adhesive foam at the back of the border and the witch image just to make them pop.
I think the buttons are really cute. Orange, violet, and green worked well together.
Inside the card, I decorated the top and bottom edge with BOO prints, also from My Grafico freebie set. I made the note card by adding lines to the purple paper, and made a print-out of the sentiment. This card is 6"x7" in size.
I also found a vintage bottle label at Graphics Fairy and made it into a tag.
