Glinda Got the Shoes
For my card I am following the sketch over at CLP (to join the challenge click the sketch below). My card measures 5.5x6.5 inches and using a special shimmery cs and layered with matte canary cs. My patterned papers is from DCWV Teen Prints. For my image I am using Lil Ragamuffin Glinda Got the Shoes Whimsical Oz which you can get here. I colored her dress with pink colored pencils using two shades to match the colors of the paper. Her hair is colored yellow also using two shades and glittered some of her curls with yellow glitter pens. Her crown is colored with gold color pencils and gems with pink glitter pens. I used the lace from a giveaway win. The pink trim is from Webster's Pages Sunday Picnic collection. I added a sentiment using the Hero Arts cupcakes clear stamp. I love to use flowers on my cards lately so I used three shades of flowers together with my favorite die Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Festive Greens by Tim Holtz for my favorite tool Sidekick. Then I glittered the flowers using Leeho glue glitters.
You can see more images below. Inner panel also decorated with same papers and a sentiment from Hero Arts cupcakes clear stamp.
