Exploding Boxes For Moms and Kids by Luanne
Hello! everyone, it's me Luanne and sharing something for you tonight. I made a couple of exploding boxes for Mother's day and for kids. Don't forget to join our DOUBLE GIVEAWAY, you still have time till this Sunday. This will be a heavy post as I will show a lot of photos.
Here are my exploding boxes. I made 5 boxes with same designs with the 2 having different colors.
I used a lot of dies here you can see them on the supplies I used. These boxes are 2.5 inches square in size. I'm using red, brown, light pink, pink lipstick, purple, and light purple cardstocks. The patterned papers are from DCWV holiday stack, teen stack, mariposa and all about scrapbooking.
Here is a closer look on one of the red boxes. The butterfly is ink distressed using ranger tea dye, the flowers and heart are sprayed with burnt red and mustard seed using tattered angels. I also added gems on the butterfly.
Here is the box when opened. The center is fully decorated as well. The 'Love You' sentiment is from tech tues mama love stamp set. I used a pvc book bind cover on the middle so I can placed the sentiment. The I add flowers, leaves, hearts, and crown. The four panels are also decorated with sentiments and a space left for personal notes.
Here is a closer look on the center piece. Flowers are sprayed with tat burnt red shimmer mist.
These next exploding boxes are for the kids. The arrangements are the same and I am using brighter colors from the teen stack. The cardstock I am using is a shimmery purple. I used white and yellow flowers for this box.

This is what you can see when the box is opened.
Here is a closer look of the center piece. You can see behind the first yellow flower? There is a 4 layer of die cut flowers and sprayed with mustard seed tat shimmer spray. I also added pearls for blings.
This is a closer look of the lid.
The next project is colored pink. This is so pretty if I say so my self. The colors just blend together here, so love the red hearts.
And here is the inside of the box when opened.
That's it! I hope you like my post today. This is my last post for tonight and going to take a rest. Will see you again tomorrow, it's FRIDAY!!!!
