Flower Pockets for Moms

Hello! everyone it's me Luanne and wishing all mom's a Happy Mother's Day. My project to share tonight is something I made for my mom, mother-in-law, grandma, sister-in-law, sister, another sister in heart and office mate.
For new projects I want to learn I sometime look at Splitcoaststampers and this is what I want to learn to make, Flower Pocket. I watched the video how to make this and started early today. I'm kinda late to send this to another city as I was busy with work last week. Well it's the thought that counts isn't it? hehehe.
For this card I am using a shimmery brown cardstock and cut it into 5.5x11 inches. Scored 4.5 inches for the pot and fold then scored the remaining length for the upper part of the pot. You have to fold it like a Z. I punched the edge using a Martha Stewart heart punch and emboss. For the base pot I used a paper from All About Scrapbooking, the edges are inked. Then I tie a ribbon around which also holds the pot. The tag to slip inside the pot is 3x5.5 inches and used the remaining brown cardstock for matte. The flowers are made using sizzix sizzlits decorative flower which I inked the edges and attached with brads of diff colors. The leaves is from sizzix sizzlits flowers and leaves also dabbed with ink randomly using colorbox brown and TH bundled sage. I then glued to leaves to the white cardstock. The flowers are attached to the card with foam tapes. The other flower is attached to the pot. To finish this I added a tag with a sentiment.
