Update: My entry won at Crafts for Eternity

Hi there! It's me Venus, posting. I've been so busy working with invitation orders for my shop that I couldn't manage to stretch my schedule to create something else. Wedding and birthday invitations are fun to make, but with a hundred of those and a deadline to meet, it's crazy.... Wow, I miss card making so much. Fathers Day is just around the corner and I've been wanting to complete my steam punk collection with the theme.

Here's my second steam punk card, fit for a KING. Hehehehe. My first card was poster here.

Oh, I love the Tim Holtz gears bigz die. I painted the cogs with silver poster paint; dabbed some ink then heat embossed with gold powder, after that I painted it with bronze crackle paint. And notice the edges... oh these are Tim Holtz edge die. Love it, too!

Then I thought I'd put on something special on this card. I thought a frame with a pull-put tag would be cool. You can put a photo on it and write some messages at the back.
The frame has clear PVC window to protect the photo.  see below...

The letterings were made using Vintage Market die by Tin Holtz - thanks to my sister Luanne for this cut-outs!!

I made this sentiment in my computer, just to fit the theme of the card..

And oh, the beautiful stem punk inspired papers are digis that I bought from Scrapbook Elements Store

There you go... Hope you liked my post today. Thanks for visiting!
