Hello! everyone it's me Luanne. It's time for another fun and inspirational challenge over at The Craft Garden. Kerry has chosen this wonderful image of painted elephants as this month's inspiration. Aren't those colors wonderful? Wish I could go to Thailand and ride an elephant, hahaha! You have the whole month of August to link up your projects.

I have this plastic container for my pre-punched butterflies, isn't that boring? hahaha So for my project I decorated this using papers from All About Scrapbooking, paper cords, embellishments provided by Kerry (thanks Kerry, love them!), and Sizzix Edge Butterflight Die.

Now here is my finished altered die cut plastic container. I really had fun making this, but at first I don't know what to do but as I started from one place the others just continued. I covered the container with a black and white patterned paper, I used a light green patterned paper and die cut a butterflight which I inked the edges with TH fired brick ink, TH bundled sage then TH tea dye. I added the pink shimmery butterfly then a twine, the other small butterfly beside and added a green embellishment. All the die cut butterflight are layered with diff colors and shapes of gems.

For the lid I surrounded it with paper cord then added the beads randomly.

Here is a top view of the lid. The base are layers of die cut circle and scallops of pink shimmery cardstock and the same black and white cs. I added the dark brown ribbon then the flowers. Really love the colors here and the theme of butterflies. This will remind me that this container holds my die cut butterflies.
