Hi everyone, it's me Venus. Warning: Heavy Post Ahead!

A MINI ALBUM
What's so special about this mini album? I made it as a gift for my baby girl, who's expected to be born sometime by the last week of August or first week of September. Surprisingly, I went into labor several weeks than expected. I was finishing the last page of this album the day I felt I had to go to the hospital because the back cramps won't stop. That was 1:00 in the afternoon of August 14. At 3:25, my baby was born.

Now let's go into the details of this mini...
I went all the way with the super cute 8"x8" Graphic 45 Little Darlings paper stack.

The cover is made of chipboard which I covered with canvass then set with eyelets.

To make the shaped edges, I covered the chipboard with paper then run it through the machine
using Tim Holtz Bracket edge die.

Photo mats on the left and journal tags on the right.
The fabric flowers on the tags were given by Isabel of The Yellow Violet House

blank space for photos and messages and more journal tags on the right. Those lovely flowers were
given by crafter, Ces de Guzman. Visit Ces' blog, follow link  HERE

A pocket on the left with envelopes that contain our hospital tags..
more journal tags on the right. I used the handmade flower and dress given by Ces de Guzman.

There's a blank page on the left, and journal tags on the right. I'll show you a trick on how I put together 3 tags instead of just one....

I cut a butterfly using Silhouette Cameo, folded it into two and placed it at the back of the baby image. Isn't she adorable?
I joined 3 tags together using an eyelet then inserted the tags behind the wings.

Kaiser Kraft compressed fiber tabbed page on the left.... I painted it with white acrylic paint.
Another shaped page on the right using Tim Holtz tattered doily die - one of my faves!

I love the shapes of the pages! There's a secret photo mat on the right.

Supplies Used:
Graphic 45 Little Darlings Pad, Kaiser Kraft Compressed fiber tabs; Tim Holtz Distressed Doily die, Tim Holtz Ornament edge die; All About Scrapbooking vintage ornaments; Prima lace, Prima flowers, K and Co brads, All About Scrapbooking acrylic flowers; Rangers Heat Tool, Rangers Embossing powder-gold; Stickles; Rangers Liquid Pearls; WRMK scrapbook paint; All About Scrapbooking brads; Tim Holtz Distressing ink Tea Dye; Tim Holtz Paper distresser; Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers Pocket Envelope;Martha Stewart Puncher; Sizzix Bigz flower layers die; Silhouette Cameo: butterflies, label, tags; Provocraft Divine Swirl embossing folder; Adhesives; Handmade flowers from Ces de Guzman.

What a beautiful creation. Nice job all around!

I'm trying to put together a Lil Darlings mini now, and keep hitting all sorts of bumps, although in all fairness I'm new to the hobby. Perseverance pays! Can't wait to reach your level.
