I'm scrapping like crazy this past few weeks, trying to figure out my style, trying out techniques. On this 8"x8" layout, I inked the cardstock with Glimmer Mist.
I only have the Echo Park Graceful hybrid kit. I printed out the elements on an inkjet then laminated them with a clear sticker sheet, just to prevent the inks from bleeding in the future.
I also incorporated a handmade flower by layering it on top of a Mullberry flower then secured these together with a flower brad.

My second layout features my beautiful daughter when she was born. I edited the photos, making them black and white, then used pink and blue colored papers. Sweet!
Products used: DCWV cardstock; DCWV Whimsy; Graphic 45 Lil' Darlings; Spellbinders, Doodlebug twine; Rangers ink; Poster Paint -white; WRMM Scrapbook paint; chipboard alpha; adhesives.
This is the poster paint that I used to paint the edges of the cardstock and chipboard alphas, and the tips of the pennants to give it some distressed feel.
