Hello fellow crafters! Have you heard about the new Sizzix dies by Eileen Hull? I'm pretty sure those of you who are lucky enough to be at the CHA 2015 in Anaheim, have probably seen those... Im so impressed with the finished products, so beautiful 3D projects!

One of my favorite Eileen Hull dies is the SIZZIX SCOREBOARDS XL CAKE BOX die that's been with me for years. I really like it a lot since the finished box is really good for holding small sized gifts and treats..

Today I made a Varsity themed box using the cake box die and several other Sizzix dies. There are several tutorials found online on how to assemble the base. You may want to try any of the tutorials you can find. My TIP: Make sure to adhere the scalloped bottom lid using hot glue because wet glue tends to stick longer.

Did you like the red trim around the top cover? Its decorative and functional as well. The scallop edges of the top cover tends to fly open. So, I secured the scallop edges with the trim.

I created the doll using a flesh colored craft foam. The doll's face was made using Peachy keen face Stamp (Princess). I'm glad Memento ink did not smudge on the foam.

To make the doll stand, I created a triangular base and adhered the doll to it before sticking the base on the top of the box cover. Then I places die cut stars and cut-out scraps of glitter paper at the back to hide the triangular base.

Here's how my box looks like when it is open. I really liked how it turned out. This can be a nice gift for a cheerleader friend or a really cool teacher in school.
