One of a Kind Barbie Doll Face Makeover
A few months ago, I sent my Barbie made to move doll to Northern Philippines for a makeover. I sought the artist named Richard E. for his realistic style of painting.
The day the doll finally arrived in my mail, December 17, was exciting. Unboxing it slowly, I was surprised to see a lifelike face at 1:6 scale. I was so happy the makeover turned out so well. The painting was so clean that I could not see any brush stroke.
Isn't she gorgeous? Do you also like repainted dolls or do you prefer them right from the box, as is? Her name is Izelle and her character is a Nuclear Medicine Physician. See her in my instagram page DollShenanigans.
Kisses,
Venus

Doll Shenanigans Printable Christmas and New Year Cards
It's Holiday Doll Crafts Part 2.
I test printed the Holiday Greeting cards I designed yesterday and was happy with the results. I enjoyed the process of cutting and folding and making the tiny envelope.
However, when I looked closely, I realized that the greetings were printed backwards! I had a good laugh though. My editing skills had become rusty!
The finished cards and envelope
To all dollies, you may download the edited files of the Holiday Greeting Cards. Enjoy!

Holiday Doll Crafts DIY Printable Cards for Christmas and New Year
Hello Dollies! This is my first blog about Holiday Doll Crafts and I'm sharing with you a 30-minute (or less) craft idea. I made miniature Christmas cards for dollies with very few and basic craft supplies:
- Cardstocks plain
- Cardstocks metallic or glittery
- Christmas icons or stickers (think scrapbooking or journalling materials)
- Scissors
- Glue
INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO CREATE A GREETING CARD
1. Cut 1 inch x 2 inch size cardstock as base card.
2. Fold into two
3. Cut pieces of metallic and glittery papers, smaller than the base card
4. Prepare Christmas icons, stickers, cut outs, etc.
5. Stick the accent papers on the front of the base card.
6. Stick the Christmas icons on top of the accent paper
And here's a surprise for all of you dollies. I designed miniature 1:6 scale greeting cards for all of you.
The cards feature photos from our holiday photoshoot and Dollshenanigans Ball

Here's what the printable looks like. The printables have special greetings from Dollshenanigans and instructions for making the envelope. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The RED PATTERN on the envelope goes INSIDE so it would look like it has an envelope liner.

How to make birthday diorama for BTS Jin doll
Happy 28th Birthday to Kim Seokjin also known as Jin of BTS. Of course, I created a diorama with my BTS Mattel Dolls to commemorate this event as a fan of the biggest boy group since the Beatles. Yes, the Beatles. And their new album is currently no 1 in Billboard Hot 100 while their previous No. 1 song, Dynamite took the 3rd spot. Very impressive feat for all the fans of BTS, this is another record breaking moment. I'm crying.
To make Jin's birthday even more special, South Korea has a new law called BTS Law. Read the caption below. This means Jin will have 2 more years to roll his career before joining the military, and the same goes to all highly recognized male Kpop artists.
DIY Doll Cake is made of a big marshmallow. I adhered a sticker with Jin's photo. Then I topped it with pink and glitter nail polish.
The cake is made of large marshmallow! I made a simple diorama by printing BT21 image on a piece of paper and cut it into a poster.
My doll Kookie gives his Hyung a bouquet of flowers. RM is wearing DIY face mask.
Jin looks very pleased and excited.
I posed the 7 BTS mattel dolls in a way they would pose in real life. I just imagine Taehyung sitting on Kookie's lap. Of course, maknaes sit together while huyngs stand behind.
Doll Outfits:
Jin's sweatshirt and jogging pants are from LV Doll Dress
Suga's jacket, RM's polka dot shirt, and Taehyung sweatshirt are. from Michikoy Doll Clothes.
I made Jimin and J-Hope's shirts.
Thanks so much for dropping by my blog. I purple you.
I have an Instagram page BTSDOLLSINTHESOOP
dedicated to all BTS Mattel Dolls in my collection.

Barbie Dolls November Ball 2020
November 28 to 29 by Dollshenanigans. This ball celebrates the end of November, a transition to the jolly month of December.
The venue: Living room
The invitation
Doll buffet
Beautiful dolls wearing red gowns. Surprisingly the gowns were very affordable, each costs no more than 2 US dollars.
My muse, Lucy is a Steffi doll repainted by Ken Paulo Ferrari.
Day 2 of the Ball: Venue was at a mall. I just took advantage of the beautiful set up.
BTS Mattel Dolls were escorts.
The gowns were locally made and cost no more than 2 US dollars. The sewing was really good and the materials were nice.
