Hello everyone! Welcome back to Sisters Craft Cafe. It's me Venus, and I'm doing a fast break on my card creations because tomorrow is MONDAY here in the Philippines, and that means BUSY.
Don't miss out on our Mother's Day Giveaway. Link up and get 2 chances of winning a fabulous package of craft supplies. Check out the side bar on the left.
Out with the pastels now, in with darker colors, I decided to play with black and blues. I chose this pretty image Curly Sue from Scrapbook Stamp Society. I love her stare! I also decided to go for the circle shape just to make my card a bit interesting. LOL.
I embellished the front of the card with Prima and non prima flowers, stickles on the petals and her hat, and some rhinestones. A black satin ribbon holds a metal embellishment and a tag.
Here's a closer view of the metal embellishment and tag. I used a sentiment stamp from The Crafts Meow. The tag is free moving and was made using Marvy Uchida puncher. The metal embellishment was taken from a piece of fancy jewelry.
I colored the image using Crayola color pencils mixed with Faber-Castell color pens.
Her hair is blue-black and her eyes were emphasized with eyeliner and shadow. Heheheh. I really had fun doing her "hair and make-up"
