A pleasant day to everyone! It's me Venus posting here. So how's everyone doing with crafts ans stuff?
Today I'm sharing some layouts that I made for the Online Scrap date last Sept 30. By the way, the Online Srap Date is an online group on Facebook that fosters scrapbooking among its members . I'm looking forward to it every end of the month. Check out my three 8"x8" layouts below...

Layout 1...Inspired by one of my favorite Rock songs, my son's photos were just perfect! The title was made out of chipbpard die cut using Tim Holtz wordplay. I painted it with acrylic black, then dabbed it Versamark watermark, poured gold powder then heat embossed.

Supplies: Cardstock: DCWV, October Afternoon, Graphic 45.Embellishments: Echo Park Chillingsworth manor, Tim Holtz tickets, brad, buttons, black rhinestones. Die: Tim Holtz Wordplay. Stamp: Ali Edwards. Paint/Ink: Acrylic black, Randers Brick Red.

Layout 2... Oh I love these Halloween photos. The sketch had a circle on it so to save time, I used one of those vellum sheets by Websters Pages that has some violet color. Hmm, Graphic 45 and Webster's Pages go well together huh? Hehehe...
I used tags instead of photos to complete the row of frames.

Layout3.... This is the easiest layout I made during the crop. I just love EP's Chilingsworth Manor!
That's my son, dressed up as a pea pod, and I digitally manipulated the photo to make it look as if my son is on the plate.

Now this layout is my project of the day. I just wanted to practice on the layering and shadows to make the layout 3 dimensional, not flat.  I used the kit "Story Telling" by Sahlin Studio. The layout was inspired by the sketch at Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge. I'm entering this layout their 7th challenge.

In between scrapping, I also made myself a notebook. I took all the extra chipboard alphas  and adhered them onto a piece of rectangular chipboard. Then I painted the whole thing with white acrylic then painted it again using pink acrylic. To make the letterings stand out, I painted just the surface of the  letters with some white paint. When dry, I added assorted blings.

The pages of the notebook are scraps of paper
The back cover looks pretty as well. I adhered the negative of the chipboard alphas on another chipboard then painted it with pink acrylic paint. When dry, I painted just the surface with white acrylic paint.

This is all for today my friends! Hope you enjoyed my post. Thanks for visiting!
