Making a Mini Album with Accordion Spine
Greetings to all!
Today I want to share a pretty little album that I made
using Lori Whitlock cutting file in Silhouette cameo.
The file says, it is for chipboard mini album, but since I couldn't get a Silhouette brand chipboard anywhere,
I opted to skip that part and proceeded with cutting cardstocks and just improvised on the album cover..
This is how the finished product looks like....
At first, when I opened the cutting file, I was like "WHOAAAA!!"
because of the many cutting pieces in one file.
So okay, again let me skip that part...
This is the assembled piece from the die cut
It took me a while to figure out how to put the accordion spine altogether
but it became so easy after a few trials.
These are the tags and shaped cards that came with the file...
And these are the pocket cut outs that also came with the file...
I applied glue on the accordion tabs, front and back...
Then slid the pockets and creased the edge to allow the glue to hold
The page should look like this...
After putting all the pockets together, I inked the edges to create a vintage look
I did the same on the tags and cards
to create a raised effect on the stamp. I used Gelly scented powders, this one smelled like cookies and cream, oh so yummy!!
Embossed
I embellished the pages
