A pleasant day to all! It's me Venus, posting once again. Welcome to Sisters Craft Cafe, this is a shared blog with my sister Luanne.

Our giveaway is up for grabs on Mother's Day (here in the Philippines), so check out the left side bar to see the goodies. You can also read about my sister and I HERE

Last night, I worked on making a card following the April sketch challenge at The Crafts Meow . I thought, I'll make a Christmas themed card for  a change. It would be fun to start collecting Christmas cards this early.

Here's the TCM sketch...
And here's my interpretation...
For the border, I used MS arches punch - one of my favorite punches - and a scalloped border scissors to cut the edges of  the green  DCWV glitter cardstock. I also used this glitter cardstock to layer the printed paper. Hmmm, I can't see the branding of the printed papers used here. I can't remember the brand either because I bought these from a craft store as trial packs. Anyway, I love the papers :-)

Now for the embellishments... the blue "winter" flowers were made from Sizzix sizzlit deco strip die. I used  pine tree foam die cut, rhinestones, and pretty white buttons from my giveaway wins from Amy Tsuruta

The elements that start with letter "B" in my card: bow, buttons, blue, and border.

Here's a close-up... I added baby blue Leecho glitter glue the blue flowers, then green and gold Stickles on the pine tree. I stamped Merry and Bright sentiment using Autumn Leaves clear stamp, cut each word out, then adhered them on the flowers. That's it!

Now, I'd like to introduce you to a fellow scrapper and blogger. Like me, she's also a physician.  She is based in Manila, Philippines. I haven't met her in person yet, but she texted me a sweet and unexpected message yesterday
I'm introducing Dr. Cabbie Lopez a.k.a Cabbie Jean Scrapper, below is a sample of her layout and please check out her blog HERE to see her posts. I love her technique tips!

I am entering my Merry and Bright card at these challenges:
