Hello fellow bloggers! It's been a long time since the last post here at Sisters Craft Cafe.
My sister, Luanne, and I have been very busy with our lives.
She had a new baby--- but before that, she sold all her craft supplies!!!
Yes, you're reading it right. I though she was joking at first, but when she posted everything in her stash online, it hit me that I'll be managing this blog by myself.

Then I opened my studio for invitations and crafts last June 2014...
The preparations of putting things together, dealing with a variety of walk-in customers, and the pressure to pay the monthly rent was something I had to learn on a daily basis.

And today, I want to share something I created that's not for sale (something you won't see being sold in my studio or  a made-to-order item).

Scrapbook Album with Spine

This is my first time to make an album cover with spine.
Usually, I just bind pages together with rings.

Warning: photo-heavy post

Enjoy!

This is a 7x7 sized album cover with spine

Pages Inside

This album was meant to be given as a present for my friend, who is
equally crafty as me. So, I kept the embellishments loose, for her to arrange it
the way she likes...
Die cuts and tags held by a clip
The pages inside are 6x6 sized.

I super like die cuts! doilies, windows, butterflies, twigs...

I love making mini cards, so I adhered one the page.

I punched holes and put eyelets, then threaded a jute twine to hold the pages together..

My friend has more than scrapbooking supplies than I could ever imagine...
So I thought of keeping the pages embellishment free so she can do whatever she likes later...

I'll be creating a tutorial soon on how to create an album cover with spine.
